Notable Player Guilds: CGX Gaming: The Rebel Impulse branch of the famed e-sports organisation, known for running tournaments in Diabolos Dive, the famed MOBA Demon Spirit Story, and other games. Based in Morrigan, CGX Gaming is focused primarily on livestreams of PvP combat between Lugh players and Morrigan players, though cross-shard tournaments and tournaments of other shards such as Cichol and Cethleann have been held. CGX Gaming's higher echelons are filled by tournament players on the actual CGX team, with membership to CGX being restricted to talents being groomed for the CGX roster, though many use fake clan tags to mark themselves as fans of CGX. Gamers For Weed: A player guild based in Cethleann. Originally a small guild named that way as a joke, Gamers for Weed became known for aiding players during raids and dungeon missions; their leader, kitkat335, was formerly a Black Cat and split off, but maintained both his relations with the Black Cats and their mentality of aiding others. While Gamers for Weed was never one of the larger guilds, they are of relative fame due to being helpful, if rather lackadaisical, to new players seeking to clear their first raid, and occasionally recruit new members. Ring of Honor: A player guild based in Cichol. An anti-player killer guild, Ring of Honor recruits those seeking to stop player killing, for reasons such as the thrill of the hunt, or being sick of trolling. Ring of Honor has been known to collaborate with other guilds, such as the Black Cats to hunt player killers, or CGX for tournaments; many former Ring of Honor members became CGX talent. Ring of Honor is known for their rigid, player-enforced Code of Honor, preventing their players from engaging in PvP without either being challenged or the opponent being a PKer; violators have been evicted from Ring of Honor, with some joining Fight Club or other guilds with less rigid codes. asedf: A player guild based in Oghma, the unusual name was a result of a mistake while the guild was registered, but stuck after the guild ballooned in size due to the name rapidly becoming a meme. asedf is an informal guild with all sorts joining the guild, as one of the largest guilds in Rebel Impulse, with player counts in the 1000 at asedf's prime. Kalina: A player guild based in Oghma, the guild specialises in selling wares that compete with Firbolg-staffed stores by selling certain raid drops and specially-crafted equipment that cannot be bought from Firbolgs. Kalina can occasionally be found doing raids to attain their drops, but are just as often found buying them from players, specifically members of JeSuisMonte. Alter Rouge: A player guild based in Elatha, they focus upon crafting and teaching others crafting techniques, having formed an alliance with Kalina to supply them with special crafts. Alter Rouge's crafts are renown as being among the best items in the game, with only a few Divers and (rumoured) Aes Sidhe being able to match their skills. Gallantry: A player guild based in Morrigan, they are well-known as the more general PvP guild of the game, with the Warriors locked to only the top battle-ranked players of Rebel Impulse and many of the pro gaming guilds locked to their rosters only. Gallantry's members have been poached by pro gaming teams from time to time, while many former Ring of Honor and Labanan members have become members of Gallantry when seeking more PvP combat. Gallantry has bought up land in various Shards to host arenas for player-driven PvP sessions. Due to their devotion to PvP combat, Gallantry have a reputation for intensity and weird behaviour, which often leads to friction when Gallantry members with more equipment than sense challenge more skilled players outside of Gallantry and lose. DcMonalds: A player guild based in Lugh, founded by the famous VTuber Mara Luna, the guild is almost exclusively subscribers to her streams. The guild name refers to an injoke from one of her streams on Minecraft, with many of her subscribers jokingly referring to themselves as DcMonalds employees. The guild generally tends to only be active during Mara Luna's streams, with far less activity during her downtime away from Rebel Impulse, and keeps themselves funded through selling specially crafted Mara Luna-themed equipment. Opinions on DcMonalds are often mixed, with moderators sometimes having to restrain rowdier fans of Mara Luna. Task Force Hrimfaxi: A player guild based on Morrigan, and a roleplaying guild focused on pretending to be members of the titular task force, a subdivision of Echelon Seven. Hrimfaxi guild members are known for intense roleplaying, sometimes to the detriment of other players, which has occasionally gotten them moderator attention. Hrimfaxi members are known to be excellent shots, however, as part of their "drill exercises", and Migi, a former Hrimfaxi member, was famously and controversially signed to CGX Gaming after a tournament in which he bested their Morrigan roster. JeSuisMonte: A player guild based in Oghma, they specialise in speedrunning raids and farming for raids, often clashing with smaller guilds and parties wishing to run raids of their own and keeping players out of the raid zone, with their name abbreviated to JSM. This has led to occasional clashes with Ring of Honor and the Warriors when members of JSM clash with one of the others, through their ties with Kalina by supplying Kalina with raid drops occasionally smooths things over. The Warriors: An elite, exclusive guild, the Warriors are the top 100 players of Rebel Impulse. The current leader, Trish, is one of the best players of Rebel Impulse to have never signed with CGX or other e-sports orgs, preferring instead to lead the Warriors. They are often at the forefront of massive raids, and can be found on PvP arenas. There are slightly more than 100 players among the Warriors, though only 100 are active at any time, as membership of the Warriors is not revoked upon leaving the top 100. The Warriors are based in Cichol. Moonlit Black Cats: A guild named after one from a famous anime, based in Cethleann. Numbering only in the 50s at best, the Black Cats are comprised of veteran players of Rebel Impulse and other VRMMOs, with the leader, KuroeKiriya, being a famed Elf mage from the beta test of Rebel Impulse known for joining various raids as the strategist, and maintain order in Cethleann for new players. There are rumours that the Black Cats are investigating the Aes Sidhe phenomenon and that Kuroe is a wielder of CALADBOLG or possibly an Aes Sidhe himself, but the Black Cats have refused to comment except on the final rumour, pointing to Kuroe's other account as a high level mage in Elder Saga Online. Fight Club: Not an actual ingame guild, Fight Club is a player-killing guild that operates through trolling players. They clash with Ring of Honor in most Shards, though the Black Cats and Gamers for Weed have also had run-ins with them. Fight Club operates through jumping players when they are alone and vulnerable, and communicate outside of Rebel Impulse. The most high-profile incident was Fight Club disrupting a CGX tournament, only to be wiped by the top players of CGX, RainMaker and Strongstyle, skilled Lugh players, in a 2-on-50 fight, the video of which is recorded and has gained more views than the livestream the disruption happened in, becoming one of the game's most replayed clips. Labanan: A guild based on Elatha heavy on roleplay, Labanan (Tagalog for "fighting") only takes in martial artist-themed characters, with their memberships primarily comprised of Elatha and Cichol players, though players from Lugh (with the famed RainMaker being a former Labanan member) and Cethleann have a significant minority, and players from Morrigan and even Oghma can get in if they show dedication to Labanan's aim. The top players are actual martial artists in real life with the founder being an Eskrima Dakilang (equivalent to black belt), lending credence to Labanan's authenticity. Labanan became well-known due to the mostly in-character tournament they held during Rebel Impulse's second anniversary. Closure: A guild based in Cichol. Unlike many of the guilds in Cichol based on PvP, Closure is focused on economic gain. They are among the richest players in Rebel Impulse, owning land which is rented by other guilds or smaller groups of players for functions, rivalling Kalina and many of the pro player guilds for resources and indeed many of the Firbolgs; while Closure has relatively few players in it, their wealth grants them access to equipment and land that few can match. Closure's members have a code of honor, however, and tend to hide their membership in Closure as much as possible and acting incognito; friends of Closure members can occasionally find their needs suddenly taken care of without a word after complaining to their friends, with the identity of their mysterious benefactors unknown to them. Notable Firbolg Guilds: Firbolg Guilds are distinguished from Player Guilds in that they have Firbolg members as well as Diver members (rumours of the Aes Sidhe entering Player Guilds aside) and exist in the game without player efforts. Grade Knights: An NPC-headed guild based in Cichol. The Grade Knights are an inter-House Guild, started by Quartermaster Nissa, a member of the House of Exogenes. Named for an ancient order of knights that led the uprising against the Skeleton King centuries before, the Grade Knights recruit the best warriors, Firbolg and Diver alike, and take them on special missions to directly combat the Skeleton King's forces with special gear and loot exclusive to the Grade Knights as rewards. Nissa's lore in-universe is that she was of the Grade Knight bloodline, with her ancestory being a famed Grade Knight. Divers seens as particularly skilled are often approached by Grade Knight recruiters. Crimson Legion: An NPC-headed guild based in Cethleann. The Crimson Legion is comprised of those in the Kingdoms who desire to fight back against the Returners, and their membership is ragtag, ranging from peasants to stranded Shard travellers, all united with the aim to fight the Returners; the leader, the Goblin Astoro, had his village burned down by the Returners and founded the Legion as a result. They were heavily involved with the Renegade Blacksmiths event, aiding non-guild players in completing the event. Anyone is free to join the Crimson Legion provided they prove themselves dedicated to fighting the Returners, with special missions to disrupt Returner operations being linked to the Firbolgs. Emerald Troupe: An NPC-headed guild based in Elatha. The Emerald Troupe are performers from across the Elemental Schools, who hold tournaments from time to time to show off the martial arts of Elatha. The leader, Master Alee, is a cheerful, confident man who loves martial arts for the sake of martial arts, and is a former actor who became a master of Blizzard Fist Style. Membership of the Emerald Troupe is limited to those at 3rd Rank or above, as Master Alee is wary of letting neophytes in given the choreography required to perform with the Troupe. Missions involve performance fights across Elatha for special Emerald Troupe gear. Aimoto Protective Agency: An NPC-headed guild based in Lugh. The Aimoto Conglomerate is one of the few genuinely benevolent Conglomerates, with the CEO, Yukiko Aimoto, often taking to the field to treat patients herself when necessary. The Aimoto Protective Agency serves to protect travelers between the cities in the Shard, protecting them from Raiders, corporate forces and rogue Impulse Gear users alike, while also delivering Aimoto services where necessary. The Agency recruits from skilled Impulse Gear users with reputations for kindness and humility, sharing Yukiko's values; the Azure Knights and All-Elites have had many members also be part of the Agency. The Dare Club: An NPC-headed guild based in Oghma. The Dare Club, named for the founder Robert Washington Dare, seeks out thrill and adventure for the sake of it, and is open to anyone who can pay the large (at least 2.5 million noda) fee to enter the Club. As such, of the notable Firbolg guilds, the Dare Club is the smallest, as few can afford the fee, usually through expeditions or other ventures. The Dare Club is non-exclusive; members of Le Corbeau moonlight as members of the Dare Club, though the Club refuses to accept members of Le Couteau. Special missions for the Dare Club take the form of wagers, often trading artifacts and gear recovered from adventures. Task Force Dagr: An NPC-headed guild based in Morrigan. The special task force headed by Commander Pentecost, Task Force Dagr is an elite strike force with members handpicked by the Commander to perform surgical strikes against Ahab's most elite forces to disrupt their efforts and prevent their success. Task Force Dagr is thus comprised of the best from the other Task Forces. Special missions for Dagr reward special gear from Echelon Seven, and the Guild was heavily involved in the Shadow Agony event, where they spearheaded efforts to gather intel on the Elemental Styles used by Ahab's lieutenants.
